Cheap & Stylish Winter Fashions

It’s getting cold outside which means “Old Man Winter” is on the way and with cold air comes very cool cords. Wal-Mart has these great Plush maternity cords in fashions latest colors like Warm Chocolate, Whipped Latte, Hot Fuscia and everyone’s favorite color at some point in life, Black. I love these cords because they are versatile and you can dress them up or down. The Cords also work because they are only $11.00, with a price like that they work whether you are pregnant or not. Another great find this season is the Antique Under the Belly denim Jean, from Liz Lange; you can find those fashionable jeans at Target. The Under the Belly denim Jean goes great with another one of Wal-Mart’s signature designs.

The Maternity Stripy Cotton shirt is conservative, but the colors still make it cute. This is a comfortable shirt that you can wear in or out of the office with or without a jacket, and the best thing about this shirt is that it’s at a very comfortable price of $14.47. You can buy two or three in different colors and sizes to wear throughout your whole pregnancy. For the ladies who are working in corporate offices and still must wear a suit think “Separates”. We want separates because they are more versatile and cost less (which is so important when you are on a budget). Target has a whole line of Liz Lange designer clothing, from jeans to that little black dress. Speaking of the little black dress, here is Liz Lange’s beautiful Maternity version of it.

It’s made out of that “Oh so comfortable” polyester so you know what that means, you can wear it all day and not have to worry about being tight or uncomfortable. This Ebony Black dress is the perfect item for the perfect night out with your boyfriend, husband or even your girlfriends. Accessorize with the new Moccasins and handbag from Payless Shoes and you are good to go. For a little jewelry try Clair’s Boutique. The last item from Target had to be included because I think it is the most versatile from day to night is The Maternity Blazer. This blazer is cute, it’s professional, it’s casual and most of all its economical $20.99, who can beat that?

This Blazer can be worn with jeans, skirts, dress pants and even over dresses. There are so many tops that can be worn underneath the blazer, long sleeve, short sleeve, solid colors, strips, and one that will always be my favorite The Cami. I love Cami’s because they feel like butter and the New Additions Cami has not disappointed me yet. This beautiful top is made of 95% cotton and 5% Polyester, it comes in four different and playful colors Blue, Green Tea, Rose Petal and Viola, it can be worn with a blazer, jean jacket, sweater or a shrug. Ladies before I go let us talk about foot wear. I say this because when we get pregnant we want to look good and still think that we can wear 4” heels, well ladies we CAN NOT and we SHALL NOT, but what we can do is wear very comfortable wedged heels like the ones that are now available at Payless Shoes. Payless has wedged shoes and boots now in their Fall/Winter collection, and if I had to pick one I would go with the Paige Tailored Wedge Boot $27.99. It’s a 2 ½ inch wedge that is comfortable, stylish, wide width and able to be worn until about your sixth or seventh month.

All of these selections are beautiful, they can take you from the office to dinner, dancing and then home for that much needed massage without any hassle. As a mother I know that it does not take much to get pregnant, but it takes a whole lot of measuring, squeezing, pinning an maneuvering to keep that pregnancy looking good. Don’t worry once the baby is here you can look back on those pictures and say, “Hmmm, I still had it!”
